This page describes what data PersuasionFrame collects, why we process it, how AI processing works, and how you can request access, correction or deletion.

1. Data we may collect and process

  • Account email address
  • Name, company and profile details if you provide them
  • Login / authentication data (session tokens, sign-in events)
  • Project inputs (titles, asset type, audience, offer, objections, tone, desired action)
  • Copy you submit for analysis
  • AI-generated outputs (scores, diagnosis, rewrites, recommendations)
  • Brand voice data you save
  • Workspace and client-workspace data
  • Agency white-label branding (agency name, logo URL, colours, footer text, prepared-by details)
  • AppSumo redemption codes and redemption metadata
  • Credit usage and transaction records
  • Export/report metadata (which reports you generated, when)
  • Portal access logs (share-token access attempts, success / invalid / disabled / rate-limited)
  • Hashed IP address and user agent if logged for portal or security auditing
  • Support messages you submit

2. Why we process this data

To provide the service, run AI analyses on the copy and offers you submit, enforce credit and tier limits, present client-facing reports and portal views, detect abuse, comply with AppSumo licence terms, and respond to support requests.

3. How AI processing works

When you run an AI action (Copy Analyzer, OfferAudit, and future modules), your project inputs and submitted copy are sent server-side to an AI processing provider through our secure AI gateway. AI API keys are never exposed to the browser. We do not authorise the provider to train foundation models on your inputs; the AI request exists only to produce your requested output for that specific action.

4. BYOK responsibility

If you supply your own AI provider API key (BYOK), that key is used only for actions you initiate. You remain responsible for the key's billing, rate limits, and compliance with the provider's terms and privacy policies.

5. Data retention

Project inputs, analysis results and rewrites remain in your workspace until you delete them or delete your account. Portal access logs are retained for a limited window to support abuse detection and audit. AppSumo redemption records are retained for the operational life of the deal to enforce licence terms.

6. Data deletion requests

You can delete individual projects and brand voices from within the app. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below. Some records (redemption metadata, financial logs, security logs) may be retained where required by law or by AppSumo enforcement.

7. Security measures

We use industry-standard practices — encrypted transport (HTTPS), server-side secret storage, database row-level security, share-token access for client portals, rate limiting on public endpoints, and audit logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security; we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for authentication sessions, UI preferences, and (on the admin readiness page) local checklist state. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the app surface.

9. Third-party processors

We rely on infrastructure and service providers including the hosting platform, database provider, and AI model provider(s). Each processor is bound by its own privacy and security terms. AppSumo processes payment and initial licence-code data for deal customers.

10. AppSumo redemption data

When you redeem an AppSumo code, we store the code identifier, redemption timestamp, tier and associated account. This is required to enforce your entitlement and to comply with AppSumo's licence terms.

11. Portal access logging

Public client-portal access is logged (portal slug, access status, hashed IP, user agent, timestamp) so that portal owners and platform admins can detect abuse. Portal logs do not expose the underlying report content.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in the app or via email.
